Work-Based Learning Coordinator Janine Ensign took a group of Park High students to Gallatin College in Bozeman October 23 to learn more about the world of robotics, light, optics, and photonics. According to the event guide, photonics “is the name for technologies used in the creation and manipulation of light.” Students visited with representatives from a variety of businesses in the field, including Bridger Aerospace, Montana Instruments cryogenic technologies, and Tuscano Machine, a precision machining company.
