State Tournament comes to a halt due to Coronavirus

On the evening Friday the 13th at Metra Park Area, it was announced before the final semifinal game of the night that the State tournament would not continue on to the next day. The Park High Lady Rangers sat on their bench ready to cheer on their starters when this announcement was made. They Rangers were then informed that the winner of that final game would be granted the title of Co-Champion of the State Tournament. Everyone was shocked to hear the news. Little did the Lady Rangers know that they were seconds away from playing in a “State Championship” game.

The Lady Rangers faced off against the Hardin Lady Bulldogs for the third time this season. Although the Rangers fought hard they were unable to defeat the highly skilled Bulldogs. The Bulldogs took home the title of Co-Champions, winning 64-40.
