Seniors hold the game ball in the air victorious

It was an intense game from start to finish.  On Wednesday, the juniors lined up against the seniors to face off in a flag football game under the field lights.  The seniors came out hot, moving the ball quickly, but the juniors held their ground.  Neither team seemed to gain much ground, mainly tied to both teams turning the ball over multiple times.  At the end of four, the score was still 0-0, and the teams headed into overtime.  The seniors got their chance from the 10 yard line first, and promptly took advantage of it.  They scored on a 2 yard touchdown run from Baylee Bergsing.  The seniors elected to have Ciara Madden kick the extra point, which was blocked.  Next, the juniors had a chance to tie it up, but could not convert, due to over throws on third and fourth down by quarterback Skylar Higgs.  The Seniors emerged victorious 6-0.  In all, the players had a great time.  “I had so much fun!” said junior Grace Lee.
