Naomi Maurer, a senior at Park High School, is a staff member of the Geyser who enjoys writing and contributing to the yearbook. Her favorite part of working on the yearbook is being able to bring stories to life through writing and seeing the final product come together as a team. In addition to journalism, she is involved in BPA, where she placed second at state, and she is also the co-founder of the Teen Lifeline Project which brings mental health and suicide awareness to schools. She describes herself as someone who is often the leader in group settings and likes to stay scheduled and organized, which helps her balance school, extracurriculars, and her personal life. When not working on school projects, she loves being outdoors and spending time in nature, or hanging out with her best friend. She would describe herself in three words as scheduled, driven, and dedicated. After graduation, she plans to attend college and pursue a degree in the medical field. Naomi is excited to see what the 2025–2026 school year has in store and to see what everyone’s creativity has to offer for the upcoming yearbook.
