Turner Bolton is a senior at Park High school and is part of the 2025-26 journalism team. He says he has heard good things about the class and would like to try it for himself. Turner is interested in investigative journalism. The wellbeing of the school and others concerns are his main focus. Turner has never been a fan of writing, but the right prompt helps. He has taken a photography class, and has several class video projects worth of experience, but does not feel he is overly experienced with photography. Turner’s hobbies consist of football and basketball. He has grown up playing these two sports and now plays them for Park High School.
William took this class because Journalism is a good skill to have not just for writing but for communication. He said that Journalism is important to society because it helps get information out firsthand. William feels that writing can be creative, fun, and a great way to tell stories, but it depends on the topic. William said that yearbooks are important because it’s a way to keep and share memories from your time in school. Finally, William stated that he would be a good contributor to the team because he brings design, drawing, and creativity skills.
Annie Keyes, who is a senior at Park High School, is very involved in many activities throughout the school and community. She is President of the FFA chapter and has done FFA her entire high school career. Annie also enjoys showing livestock, which she has done all over Montana. Another activity she participates in is varsity basketball, which she has played since she was four years old. Annie has some experience in photography as well because her mom is a photographer. She is quite artistic and has taken a few art courses here at Park High School. Annie is interested in making the yearbook because she believes that a yearbook holds memories that you can look back on. She wants to report on different clubs and sports that we have at Park High.
Julia Kerr is a 16-year old junior at Park High School. She is a middle child with an older sister and a younger brother. She has two dogs named Daisy and Reggie. Some of her hobbies are art and hanging out with her friends. She often enjoys painting and drawing. So far she is enjoying her school year here at Park High. She likes to do photography, mainly nature and landscape photos.
Siara Bailey is a junior at Park high school, she took photography her Sophomore year. Siara believes that journalism is great to spread new ideas and different information. She is a very organized person and isn’t afraid to interview people. Siara also thinks that the yearbook is great to express the high school experience and will be a great opportunity to look back on and talk about the people we went to school with. Siara enjoys bowling, fishing, and is great at giving ideas to the team.
Cadi Perkins is a senior at Park High School and is in her second year of journalism. She enjoys writing and design, which makes working on the yearbook and Geyser particularly enjoyable for her. Cadi loves brainstorming new ideas, working with her peers, and making sure each project looks clean and well put together. One thing that stands out to Cadi is the opportunities she has to write, saying, “I really enjoy the writing process. Watching a story grow from the first draft to the final piece is so satisfying, and it just makes sense to me.” Outside of class, Cadi works at Matt’s Meats, enjoys fly fishing, hiking, reading, watching The Summer I Turned Pretty, and participating in youth group. After graduation, she plans to attend Montana State University to study nursing, combining her interest in science and healthcare with her passion for spending time with and helping others.
