The Dillon Beavers proved a tough team to beat as the Lady Rangers faced them Thursday in the first game back from Christmas break, Jan. 4 at home.
“It was a challenging team. We played together pretty good, I think,” said sophomore point guard Annie Keyes, who plays for both the JV and Varsity teams. The JV team kept within ten points of the Beavers for most of the game, Keyes said, and by the game’s end, the gap widened to 29-49 with a Dillon victory.
Both boys and girls face Laurel at home Friday.
