On the week of October 30th through November 5th, Park FFA traveled to the National Convention located in Indianapolis, Indiana, where all the other FFA chapters across the U.S gather for workshops, meeting new people, having fun, and learning new leadership skills for their future. Nine students and two chaperones traveled to Indiana. The two chaperones that went with the nine individuals were parents Bobbi Jo Payne and Amy Keyes. National Convention was located at Lucas Oil Stadium, which is the Indianapolis Colts football stadium. The National day of service project was about making sensory bottles to donate to special needs kids around the world. In addition, they also met Park High’s P.E. teacher Megan Burn’s sister. Overall, they had a blast at National Convention.
