The Park High girls’ soccer team tied the defending champion Billings Central Rams at home on September 7. Park High athletic director Nate Par said in an email, “This is the first time we have ever not lost to Billings Central in girls soccer in our 20 plus years of having the program. Last night, we played toe to toe and came out even.” Sophomore forward Chase Vermillion scored the Rangers’ lone goal.
Junior midfielder Griffin Conn said that although they have not won a game yet this season, last night’s near victory showed the team’s potential.
The Lady Rangers will next play at home against Laurel on September 19 at 4:00 p.m.
