Rainna Floyd takes the ball all the way to the hoop past a Laurel defender.

Rainna Floyd

Rainna’s favorite memory is going to state and playing one of the last games in the nation before COVID shut everything down. She plans to attend college in-state in hopes of furthering her athletics and entering the medical field. She would like to “thank her parents for helping to push me to better myself and grow as a person, my teammates for always supporting me and pushing me as a player all the way down to all the freshman, my coaches for building me up through adversity and never letting me down, my family for always cheering at my games, the student section for being the best part of the crowd, the school and health board for giving us the opportunity through this weird time, and the other 2 seniors for helping me grow.”
