Park High at BPA State
For three days I spent my time in Billings participating in BPA. I had the pleasure of qualifying for the state BPA conference. Here I got to compete against the top aspiring businessmen and women of Montana. I placed third in my event which was Digital Publishing. Digital Publishing is an event based around the creating of logos, flyers, and other business related item, all on computer applications. Since I placed third, I qualified to go to the national conference in Anaheim, California. But the time I was here was not only spent in competitions. The conference provided time to network with BPA members from across the state, with about 1,200 members in attendance. There were also workshops provided throughout the day. The workshops were related from business to self-defense. And on the final night, a small “carnival” was held for the members to spend one final night of fun together. Along with myself, we (Park) had Lily De Young, Kaylyn Kuehn, Milena Voyich, Alexis Tinsley, and Hannah Harshbarger. BPA Nationals is held May 1-5.
