Freshman of Park High: Kyler Hopkins

“It’s kinda a big shift. I mean, I’ve gotten my stuff done, but there’s a lot more stuff. Science has a lot of work.” Kyler, along with other freshmen, feels the shift from middle school to high school in the importance of getting work done.

“I didn’t do it. But it was very interesting looking at everybody wear weird things.” Kyler was fixed on the dress up weeks of homecoming. “I definitely want to dress up in the next years.” Although he stood from afar and spectated this homecoming, it intrigued him enough to rope him in the following years.

“Basketball season is coming up. Can’t wait for that. I guess science is a low. I have like a C.” School sports from a freshman year perspective is always an interesting point of view.
